Eric
Roth, Ph.D.
Senior Consultant |
Eric works with organizations to develop leadership talent
and effectively manage change. Grounded with business acumen
and consulting psychology, his areas of expertise include
executive coaching, leadership assessment and training, and
team development. As an organizational consultant, he focuses
on strategic planning, change management, mergers and acquisitions,
and succession management. He succeeds at developing the leadership
capability of people at all organizational levels and in helping
companies create cultures that support individual initiative,
performance, and accountability.
Roth was a consultant for Personnel Decisions International
(PDI) a global leadership consulting firm, where he led the
assessment and coaching practice areas in the San Francisco
office. At PDI, Roth focused on coaching executives and managers
in leadership skills and developing leadership competencies
and delivered leadership training programs to PDI’s
clients. He developed expertise in the use of multi-rater
(360) feedback and worked extensively in assessment centers.
As a lead assessor he provided comprehensive evaluations of
candidates for executive and management positions.
Roth was also with the HR division of Wachovia Bank Corporation
in Atlanta, Georgia, where he held the position of VP of Organizational
Development. In addition to managing the corporate Training
and Development function, he facilitated organizational change
initiatives and team development projects in the corporation’s
business units. He also led organization-wide interventions
in preparing the company for, and implementing, the merger
of First Atlanta Corp. and Wachovia Bank Corp.
Roth has worked with organizations in biotech, software engineering,
telecom, computers and IT, financial services, engineering
and construction, power and energy, healthcare, and retail.
Roth completed his doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology
at the University of Georgia with a special emphasis on organizational
behavior and career development. He is currently on the adjunct
faculty at the University of San Francisco and San Francisco
State University, teaching courses in Organizational Development.
He is the current Outreach Coordinator for the Bay Area Applied
Psychologists.
