David Zweig is past president of 5 Dynamics, an online assessment
tool company, where he developed online feedback and applications
specifically for the business market, as well as processes
for integrating 5 Dynamics into business processes. For more
than a decade he has worked with leading edge organizations
to develop web-based tools for knowledge workers. He has authored
numerous development tools and modules that drew upon the
works of international thought leaders in leadership and organizational
development. David has long had an interest in innovation,
process optimization, and new business models.
His work with individuals and teams has been to optimize
their contribution and inspire innovation. His ability to
grasp complex systems and discern the leverage options has
led him to advise leaders in the navigation of new business
opportunities.
David was a vice president at CitySearch and co-founder
of one of the first websites, the award-winning Salon.com.
Prior to that, he worked in corporate marketing for Time Inc.,
and at Dow Jones and Company, where he launched a community
newspaper, using a new publishing model against entrenched
daily competition.
He is a graduate of Yale College and the Harvard Business
School, were he focused on organizational behavior and marketing.
He is currently Senior Editor at the World Business Academy,
and is writing a book about corporate boards for Simon &
Schuster.
