Chris is an independent consultant and executive coach specializing
in change initiatives within the financial and healthcare
industries. She has the versatility to work effectively with
individuals and teams of most any size who are challenged
by both personal and professional change. Leveraging her many
years of experience as an internal consultant on hundreds
of change and transition projects, Chris’ client list
includes senior leaders and initiative teams at Wells Fargo,
INTECH, Janus Capital Group, and McKesson. She is lauded for
her excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both with
senior teams and large groups. She is known for her relentless
focus on designing conversations that lead to action, accountability,
and results.
Chris spent eleven years at Janus Capital Group (formerly
Janus Funds) in roles including Vice President of Organizational
Capability and Vice President of Leadership and Communication
Coaching. During this time she contributed her expertise to
several enterprise-wide initiatives such as infrastructure
changes to accommodate rapid growth, downsizing, transition
from private to public company, and the rebound from an industry-wide
scandal.
Earlier in her career, Chris was an oncology nurse and Nurse
Manager of the Adult Oncology Unit at Presbyterian/ St. Luke’s
Medical Center in Denver. She then successfully transitioned
from her clinical role to become the Management and Organizational
Development Specialist for the medical center which enabled
her to both develop and contribute her leadership, communication,
and facilitation skills to wide spectrum of projects.
In addition to her under-graduate degree in nursing and
certification as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Chris earned
her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College in Cambridge,
MA. She has completed numerous certification courses throughout
her career including Mastering the Art of Professional Coaching,
Coaching for Authentic Leadership, High Impact Consulting,
and Managing Organizational Transition. She also has over
20 years experience using the DiSC dimensions of behavior
system.
