Cheryl Martin has over fifteen years of experience managing organization effectiveness initiatives in the areas of Large-scale organizational transformation and culture change, leadership development & alignment, business process design, ERP implementations, strategic planning, learning & development, and change management. She works locally and globally. Most recently, she directed Cabelas’ organization transformation as they transitioned from a catalog to multi-channel company. This included a range of change management projects across the entire enterprise.

As an executive coach, she draws upon years of organizational experience and the application of psychological principles in organizational settings. She has expertise in the development of effective managers, leaders, and teams, utilizing 360 assessments such as Leadership Effectiveness Analysis 360 and in emotional intelligence, using the BarON EQi as a guide to help her clients achieve career success.

Her education in psychology and experience as both an internal and external consultant related to deep culture change have equipped her with the insight and tools to guide companies to smoothly navigate cultural transformations.

For the past five years, Cheryl has focused on organization transformation—both ERP and business strategy initiatives, many which drive deep cultural change. Her creative, culture-specific stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and reinforcement planning have resulted in sustainable transformation for her clients. She designs and facilitates learning sessions for all levels in the organization, and is particularly committed to helping clients build the skills they need to be the architects and recipients of the behavior change required.

In particular, Cheryl is known for helping teams build change management as a leadership competency and to build enterprise transformation programs - organization-wide change programs - that provide a structured, consistent methodology and set of tools for all change initiatives in the organization.

Over the course of her career she has worked in many industries, Her clients have included: GM, Anglo Gold, Federal Express, Boston Market, Telecommunications, Inc., CalTrans, Conoco, California State Teachers' Retirement System, Progressive Insurance, Rocky Mountain Health Plan, Gateway Computers, and AT&T. Earlier in her career, Cheryl was a managing consultant at Gemini Consulting (a division of Cap Gemini) and Vista Consulting.

She earned her M.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado, holds certification from Queens University in Organization Development, is certified by the Executive Coach Institute in Boston, and is a certified practitioner of PROSCI Change Management methodology.
