Organizational Redesign
In today’s climate of constant change,
strategic success formulas don’t last long; they can
be instantly copied and improved upon by competitors who use
them to surpass an organization in the marketplace. Ongoing
assessment and proactive redesign of processes, teams and
structures help an organization quickly respond to market
and customer demands.
Leaders who have a finger on the pulse of today’s competitive
needs have moved beyond the old way of seeing reconfiguration
as a method of “fixing something that is wrong”
or as an intervention that will require huge upheaval. Being
reconfigurable requires that leaders challenge and capitalize
on associates’ capabilities and support their learning
and growth so that they too can readily respond when opportunities
arise.
This module provides a series of tools to help
leaders assess the current structure of their organization
and, when appropriate, effectively redesign it to meet customer
needs and achieve strategic goals.
