Women's Leadership Alliance
OVERVIEW
Organizations must continually develop and retain leadership talent from new sources.
CHALLENGE
While women have increasingly entered higher levels of leadership over the past
fifteen years, leading organizations have made specific efforts to recruit and
retain women in key leadership positions.
ACTIONS
ChangeworksGlobal, in conjunction with the Executive Womens Alliance, designed
and staffed The Leadership Alliance, a year long, multi-organizational learning
forum designed to support and accelerate the development of talented women. The
Leadership Alliance focuses on the three elements that make a successful career:
individual efficacy, understanding of the critical success factors within ones
own organization, and cross-organizational learning with peers and executives
RESULTS
Three levels of learning were blended into a yearlong learning environment augmented
with 360° executive assessments and individual coaching. Major global organizations
have been sending their top women leaders to the Leadership Alliance program and
the numbers of women holding executive positions in their organizations continues
to rise.
