OVERVIEW
A significant gap in culture to implement an organization-wide ERP platform.
CHALLENGE
Employees were experiencing change fatigue due to a series
of major changes during a two year period, including: a major
operational improvement initiative, the companys spin-off
from its parent company, and then the ERP implementation -
all during a very challenging business climate. However, it
was imperative that the enterprise make significant shifts
in its business strategy and culture to survive and thrive.
ACTIONS
Working collaboratively with a client team to identify specific business and organizational
issues requiring immediate actions, and the competencies required to accomplish
business results.
RESULTS
We created the Leading for Results(sm) toolkit: A work team-based process that
built competency while getting results on high priority business challenges.
The toolkit
was implemented in partnership with the client to ensure transfer of knowledge.
Leadership teams across the enterprise applied these newly learned competencies
to resolve mission critical problems. There was a successful migration to process
discipline, and a renewed focus on market and customer based decisions.
