Merger/ERP Implementation
3 billion dollar global chemical company
OVERVIEW
At the time of the spin-off from its parent company, this 3 billion dollar chemical
manufacturing company was in the midst of implementing a company-wide ERP initiative.
CHALLENGE
Provide coordinated change management services to optimize the ERP implementation
while the company was still in transition from a division of a Fortune 50 to a
stand alone Fortune 500.
ACTIONS
Created and implemented a customized change management approach
that educated and motivated executive leadership to actively
sponsor the cultural aspects of the changes. This approach
also defined an accelerated path upon which all impacted leaders
and teams could drive shifts in mind-set, behavior, and results
required of the newly formed company.
RESULTS
There was successful implementation and adoption of the new
platform, which included the migration to a hybrid process-based
organizational structure. On the heels of this project, CWG
assisted the company in their reorganization to a multiple
business-line structure. The groundwork on culture change
was leveraged to driver deeper and more sustainable change
within this new organizational structure.
